MyzharBot v3 moves its first “steps”

Only two words:

MYZHARBOT WORKS

finally the Pandaboard ES has a stable Ubuntu 12.04 operating system, with OpenCV 2.4.8 and Qt 5.2.1 fully working … at the moment I compiled both Qt and OpenCV onboard, I know it is a bit fool, but I wanted to see it to move and this was the fastest way 😀

RoboControllerServer runs on the Pandaboard and I can control MyzharBot remotely via WiFi by notebook and by ANDROID thanks to the cross-platform features of Qt5!

Also the Webcam server is running and the remote GUI shows the video streaming coming from the webcam suited in front of the robot.

This is not the final step of MyzharBot project,

THIS IS THE FIRST STEP TO THE FULL AUTONOMY…

meanwhile MyzharBot will be present at Officine Robotiche 2014 in Rome in April, 12th and 13th.
Officine Robotiche 2014 is the first edition of a meeting made by fans of robotics, where the robots created by amateurs and professionals will be shown together, with a lot of workshops about Robotics and all the fields around Robotics itself.
